Terms of Service

You give Refrain an audio file or a podcast/video link. We transcribe it, analyse your writing voice from samples you provide, and generate five LinkedIn post drafts plus supporting material (quotes, a guest post, a summary, and bullets). Output is generated by AI and is provided as a starting draft.

You sign in with Google. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. One person or organisation per account.

• Processing an episode costs one credit. Pricing is $12 for a single episode (1 credit) or $49 for a five-episode pack (5 credits).
• Each account gets one free episode. The free credit can be used on an uploaded audio file; pasting a link is a paid feature that requires a purchased credit.
• Credits are tied to your account, are non-transferable, and have no cash value.
• Payments are processed by Creem, our payment provider and Merchant of Record. Creem is the seller of record for your purchase and handles billing, card data, and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Creem's terms.
• Refunds. Because each episode consumes paid AI processing, credits are generally non-refundable once used. If a purchase failed, you were charged in error, or the service didn't deliver, email [email protected] and we'll make it right.

You keep ownership of the audio, links, and samples you submit, and of the drafts we generate for you — they're yours to edit and publish. You grant Refrain a limited licence to process your content only to provide the service to you.

You confirm you have the right to submit the audio or links you provide, and that doing so doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, contract, or privacy.

Drafts are generated by AI from your transcript. They can contain errors, misattributed quotes, or claims that aren't accurate. Review and edit everything before you publish it — you're responsible for what you post.

• Don't submit content you don't have the rights to, or anything unlawful.
• Don't abuse, overload, scrape, or try to circumvent the service's limits or security.
• Don't use Refrain to produce content that is illegal, deceptive, or harmful.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Refrain is offered "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause, or discontinue features, and we rely on third-party providers whose availability we don't control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Refrain isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for how you use the drafts you generate. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

You can stop using Refrain at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms.

We may update these terms as the product changes; we'll update the date above and, for material changes, give clearer notice.
